Following product optimisation, the declared lambda value of our grass fibre insulation has dropped from 0.041 to 0.040 W/mK, validated by accredited laboratory ECOLABOR (Austria, EN ISO/IEC 17025), within the framework of our European Technical Assessment ETA-21/0260.

Why does the lambda value matter?

Thermal conductivity, or lambda value (λ), is the key benchmark for comparing thermal insulation materials. The lower it is, the better the material insulates. In building insulation, every improvement counts : it feeds directly into your thermal calculations, R-values, and the real-world comfort of the buildings you construct or renovate.
