For fast, accurate cutting of Gramitherm® panels, use the Gramitherm® saw, specially designed for this material. This tool guarantees clean cuts and makes it easy to work even in tight spaces. Make sure you work on a flat, stable surface for better control. If necessary, a metal ruler can be used to guide the cut.
Before laying, check that the surface is clean, dry and flat. Gramitherm® boards are designed to be slightly compressible in width, making them easy to install. Simply compress them gently by hand before inserting them into the space provided. Once in place, they spring back into shape, ensuring a perfect fit and eliminating thermal bridges. Make sure you fit the panels edge to edge for optimum insulation. You can add a vapour barrier or vapour brake to reinforce the waterproofing. Careful installation guarantees long-lasting, high-performance insulation.
