The right membrane in the right place
Every thermal insulation material must be protected from water vapour transfer and air movement to guarantee its thermal performance. Choosing the right airtight, waterproof and windproof membranes—and specifically their sd-value—is essential for the longevity of your installation. Gramitherm® relies on the technical expertise of its partner Ampack, a specialist in building physics.
Ampack uses Wufi 6.3 Pro software to analyse wall assemblies from a hygrothermal perspective.
Ampack and Gramitherm® work closely together to develop systems that offer real added value for specifiers, architects, design offices, builders and tradespeople. The selection of specific technical membranes can provide solutions for building safety and protection.
A renewable insulation combined with Ampack’s moisture transfer management systems ensures thermal, hygrometric, and hygrothermal optimisation.

We provide technical support in selecting the appropriate fastening systems for our products: Sixbox for interior insulation, Faynot for external insulation systems.
